There are many ways to treat erectile dysfunction.
But it’s not just the pills that are used to treat ED. It’s the doctors prescribing the drugs. In Taiwan, a large percentage of the population has sex with men, and this is largely due to the lack of erectile dysfunction treatment options for these people. In addition to Viagra and Levitra, there are some other drugs, including Cialis and Stendra, which are approved for a wide range of conditions.
“There is not enough research to use these drugs on their own,” says Dr. Yifei Han, a sex therapist who practices in Taiwan.
For the treatment of ED in Taiwan, ED medication should be a part of treatment. A typical medication used to treat erectile dysfunction is Cialis. The drug is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat erectile dysfunction.
But it’s not the only medication to treat erectile dysfunction in Taiwan. Another option is Stendra, which has been approved by the FDA for treating ED in Taiwan. Stendra works by blocking the effects of an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which leads to an erection.
Stendra, however, can be used to treat a variety of other conditions. This includes those that affect blood flow in the penis, such as heart disease and diabetes. “When we talk about erectile dysfunction in Taiwan,” Han says, “the majority of cases are in men who are already taking medication.”
While Stendra may not work as well as Cialis on its own, Han says that Stendra can help men who have been struggling with ED for years.
“The main side effect of Stendra is an improvement in sex drive, which is a common side effect. It helps to improve erections,” Han says. “However, it can also be used to improve other side effects.”
Other ED medications may also be used to treat ED, including Cialis and Levitra. But it’s not the only option.
“These drugs don’t work as well on their own,” Han says. “If they don’t work, then you need other medications to treat your problem.”
“It’s better to have a medication that works for a long time than to have a drug that just takes time to be effective,” Han says.
